Inyuasha tells the story of a teenage girl named Kagome Higurashi who periodically travels back in time to feudal Japan to help a young half-demon named Inyuasha recover the shards of a jewel of great power. Which is said to be able to alter the very fundamental aspects of bodies, such as changing a half-demon into a full demon or a human.
