I bought this set because A) it was on sale, and B) it's the closest thing I could find to my personal vehicle (which I love). I'm glad I got the set. It's an easy build, and would be appropriate for kids as young as 5, I'd say. It was about a 45 minute build, but I'm sure it wouldn't have taken more than 30 minutes if I wasn't working in relative darkness. Try to build this set in good lighting, as the dark blue and black pieces are not very different looking.The set is mostly smaller pieces, which makes the end product relatively small, but very sturdy. It's a tight, durable build.
