My recently turned 5 yr old was insisting that this be his big toy for Christmas and it was. I was scared it would be too easy for him but I was totally wrong, and glad that I wrong, and that he still plays with it all the time. He doesn't enjoy the lego challenges that older brother takes but will play with this all day long (even with older brother). There are so many different ways to set this up and he can do all of them. It's very versatile and he's even started to create his own set ups now. I love how there are so many ways to change things and especially the little hook tool that can go in the bat mobile or on the blocks as he builds. Overall a great product. Older brother helped him put it together the first time and then once my 5 yr old realized he could do it himself, it's been great. I did cut out all the different designs on the box to help give him ideas of how to change it up and build different things because I was feeling that otherwise, he would just build the original thing in the little book. That was a great move for us because giving him the pictures of different configurations has allowed him to either play by himself (copy the pictures) or given him ideas how to build something a little different and combing pictures. Either way, it's has his brain and hands working which is fabulous.Bought this for my son's 4th birthday. He absolutely loves it! The pieces fit perfectly with the Mega Bloks Junior set that we already have. I love that the characters don't have small pieces that come apart like Lego's that are designed for older kids. I have a younger child at home as well, under age three, so I don't have to worry about choking hazards with this toy if she plays with it too.Purchased for my 4 yr old grandson who is super hero crazy. The kit contained plenty of pieces for him to construct the toy as depicted on the box and the pieces were the perfect size for a 4 year olds dexterity. The only down side was his kit was missing batmans cape which he noticed in seconds. dissappointing!I scored this for an awesome price for my son's 6th birthday. The age says 2-5 but in my opinion can be for older. My one year old daughter loves them too. Fun for the whole family, and my 6 year old loves it! I would definitely recommend this to for any child who wants to be independent, but the smaller Lego kits are too difficult for. I would order again and for sure recommend to others!I do wish it were a little bigger. For the same price, a little princess can have a whole castle to play with, and this falls short of that. However, I do really like that it has three characters, including Catwoman, since I know a hero-loving little lady who would appreciate that girls can be superheroes too.I bought this playset for my son, and he loves it. I would have given it a five star review, except I think that it is a bit pricey for the number of pieces given in the set. My three year old especially loves the vehicle and character that comes with it.I bought this as a gift for my nephew, HE LOVES IT! He just turned 4 and he loves super heroes and building things so when I saw this I snapped it up. It was a bit cheaper on Amazon vs. other stores and you can never go wrong with Lego.My 2 1/2 year old loves it! This set comes with so many pieces, that are very unique. My son loves to play with the slide and the bat mobile. The shooting pieces don't shoot that hard, so I'm not too worried about it accidentally breaking anything or blinding him. He loves the Batman cape and likes to remove and put it on. I was very impressed with the quality and all the different pieces.Excellent fun - particularly the missile launcher, which we use in countless different scenarios. Also like the swivelling pieces, and the slide. The jail cell is another well used piece - my son likes castle building (with swivelling secret doors, and dungeons). Batman, Catwoman and the Batwing plane are all great fun (exhaust fire also useful for campfires, firefighting games etc). Love The suitcase too - used as a medical bag etc.Great buildexcellent
