My 2 year old Grandson loves Duplo and this is exactly what he wanted. Vehicles and a crane - what more does a kid need!An excellent Lego product loved by my three-year-old grandson.The price (currently $65) for the LEGO Duplo Big Construction Site may sound steep, but it is worth it. We have purchased roughly ten toys containing plastic since our son (age four) was born. (His room may be overflowing with books, but not with toys.) It is safe to say that this is the toy he has used the most. A cube that plays symphonic tunes was a hit for a month and a half, and that item does not even come close.Today I am considering the LEGO Duplo Town Fire Truck in preparation for a long car trip. This item popped up as a recommend item. My mind immediately flashed to the dozens of times I have peeked into my son's bedroom within the last week to see him immersed in a construction site with the special trucks he had crafted.We purchased LEGO Duplo My First Cars and Trucks about six months ago. When we added this one he discovered how many more combinations he could come up with.I just went into his room and took pictures of what he did last night. (There's a Bob the Builder cement mixer and a golf cart from his grandfather's birthday cake in there too.) He has had this set for almost two years, and still enjoys it. My guess is he will go back to the construction site tonight and play for twenty minutes before we read him a book.This set sparks imaginative play for hours and hours and hours. A subset of his Duplo bricks are going into a box to come with us on the trip. I can't recommend this enough. If you have a toddler who likes construction sites, get it.If this toy has a downside, it is the likelihood that you will step on a block and hurt your foot. This toy provides a teachable moment to learn (or remind a child of) the ritual of putting back toys. One night I asked him to pick up the construction set from the floor and he chose not to. The blocks went away for a week. Not to be mean but the cloth bin works great to hold them hostage for two weeks in the office. On the up side he hasn't left a block on the floor again.-JSMy boy who is 3 is duplo mad and when I saw this set I know he was going to love it and he does. Always making new creations with the various other 3 large tubs of duplo we have. Not to fiddely nice and firm doesn’t break when ‘crashing down the walls’ 10/10 for me. Came with in 2 days of order. Super impressed.Bought for my Grandson's September birthday. It has not been used yet, obviously.But I did open the box and the tits look string and we'll made. He will love them!Love this set- lots of build options. Have not seen this anywhere else so was delighted to find it. 3 year old is getting great use from it.Great product.
