My 10 year old autistic grandson loves anything that has to do with construction or building. He has every construction item a boy can have, several times over. He absolutely loves watching "Gold Rush" because of the construction equipment and is also crazy about "Handy Manny". He has finally begun to show an interest in LEGOS, although his older brother has to help him with the directions. I got him a small LEGO Juniors construction truck set for Christmas. In January we went to Disney World and he spent every evening building with it after we got back from the park. So I ordered the 10667 construction set. It was to stay at my house and he could build with it when he stopped in after school. Used it twice and then began to insist that his Mom or Dad bring him to my house after school so he could play with it. Then he packed it up and took it home to his house. We let him and he uses it every day. Worth every penny and then some. This is a great product to help a child transition from Duplo to Lego, and it comes in a handy storage container. The pieces come in different bags, clearly labeled. The instruction booklets are easy to follow. I gave my four-year-old son the first bag and instructions (the blue truck) and told him that if he could build it by himself, he would get Bag Two the next day. He did it and was so proud of himself. I believe it is just the right level of challenge for his age and ability. It has been a few months now, and he still loves putting it together, playing with it, adding in Duplo creative cars, lego junior backhoe, and other toys, and taking it completely apart, over and over. Many mornings, this is the first toy he pulls out of his closet. An added bonus is the storage container. It is very large relative to the number of pieces it comes with which seems strange. But for whatever reason, my son always puts all the pieces and booklets back in the container with very little encouragement. It is the only toy that he always cleans up. One caveat, the lid snaps shut, but not tightly. If the container is dropped or kicked, the lid flies off and the pieces fall out. Bottom line, worth every penny of the $15 I paid.Lego has been a trusted brand in our house for many years. A classic building toy that inspires imaginative play. I happen to love the Lego Junior series. The playsets are easy enough for a 3.5 and up child, but can be enjoyed by all ages. The directions are easy to follow. The packages of Legos are numbered. It is a great way to introduce your young builder how to build Lego sets without experiencing the frustration. I have posted pictures of the finished product by an almost 4 year old. He was able to do enough himself to have fun, fell accomplished and spend hours playing. Definitely a great value! Most importantly, these sets work with the regular Legos and the same baseplates. No need to separate them or buy anything different! While I do LOVE Legos - ever since I was a kid myself (I am now 43 and now buying them for our kids), I was disappointed in this set.Not because of the quality, but the packaging is misleading... you can build two different construction sets with this, but NOT simultaneously...You need to build one, OR the other, but not both at the same time. The package should be clearer, like Lego's 3-in-1 Creator collection of sets, which CLEARLY shows the three options one has that they can create, given the instructions. However, I was lead to believe that I can build both scenarios at the same time with the set. Now, I know that this may seem like a little picky on my part, but that's just my opinion. That said, I got a second set so that I can have both versions offered, given the instructions. We got this for my son's 4th birthday and he loves it. He likes the regular LEGO sets but they are sometimes too complex for him and he gets frustrated. And I hate buying Duplo just for him to outgrow it. This one he was able to put together mostly all by himself and I think he felt a great sense of accomplishment. And I like that they are regular size LEGO that he can use for years to come. We'll definitely be buying more of the junior sets. The set also has great interactive elements. My son loves using the crane with the wrecking ball to knock down the wall. He also loves driving the truck around, putting out the traffic cone and caution sign, and pretending to fix the roads.I purchased this LEGO Juniors 10667 Construction Set for my 6 year old grandson, not only because he loves Legos, but because I thought the storage container would be nice to carry along with him. I was pleasantly surprised in that the container was actually larger than I expected! It contained a large supply of pieces and great variety. The kit is sufficient enough to build and entertain on its own without having to add pieces to it, My grandson loved the construction theme. I was happy with the product and would buy it again. If you need a good gift idea, I recommend this. Great value for the price!Great for young children. My son is about to turn five. He has struggled with motor skills somewhat and even legos could be sort of a challenge. The projects in this set are just right for him as far as the amount of challenge involved. He really enjoyed playing with the items once they were complete. I could see his eyes light up when he was able to put the pieces together without too much struggle and he was happy seeing his accomplishment. In a nutshell I feel this is a really great set from young ages.As soon as my 4yr old grandson saw the wrecking ball he was in love with this set. That was the first thing he grabbed and put together instantly. Has had it only a few days, but its the only Lego set he has played with since he got it, and he has a lot of sets. He loves Lego video games but this took place over them also. He likes to use his own ideas & imagination, but will also follow the directions, which are really easy to follow......no reading required. Another bonus with this set is the handy plastic container. All Lego sets should come in a sealable plastic container like this. I am very happy with this purchase from Amazon.com. .I liked it, though initially I thought parts are too small from my three year old, but later I realized that with in sometime, he could build cars and cranes with guidance at all.LEGO quality is amazing and I am surprise the way blocks detail out how things work.my 3 year old and I love itQuoting my husbands little brothers "this is the best Lego set ever!" It's perfect for young boys who are into construction, it's durable and the legos fit well together and don't fall apart unless your take them apart,A great Lego kit for my 4-year-old who loves his diggers! He required some help following instructions, but was able to sit for the duration of the build. The kit was just he right size for his attention span and the box is great for storage! This is one of the few building sets that I think are really great value. You get a sturdy storage box, a minifigure and a few things to build. A good starter set.Super!!! My 6 years old boy love it. You can built many differrents things with all the pieces in the box. Instructions included. Great buy
