I'm not done installing these yet, and they are not easy, but I do like the challenge and they do look really great so far. The instructions should not start with the little van either. When you start dismantling underneath the chassis, the whole thing crumbles in your hand. I had to adjust the way I was doing it after rebuilding the van 4 times. Then I get to the tree house, and the kitchen/basement and it was way less frustrating and more rewarding. I bet so many people returned this just because the van is so frustrating. The next frustration was the lights in the bushes on the front of the house. They are a little different from everything else, in that the LED is in the bottom of a stud and the transparent stud has to fasten in from the bottom. It won't snap in, maybe because the LED is taking up just a bit too much room? I used my woodworking clamps - I positioned the pieces and then took the rubber pads off my clamps and squeezed down with all kinds of pressure so the piece was forced in and didn't release the pressure until several minutes had passed. It seems to be holding but I might need the Kragle, or maybe a heat gun to soften the plastic a little.Still worth it, and it's not meant to be easy. This is for adults who enjoy building building LEGOs. Kids aren't going to have the patience.
